Neymar hangs out with former PSG midfielder David Beckham at Paris Fashion Week as the Brazilian kicks back after 8-0 rout over Dijon

Neymar reflected on Paris Saint-Germain’s 8-0 hammering of Dijon in the company of David Beckham at Paris Fashion Week on Thursday.

The 25-year-old forward met Beckham, who played 10 times for PSG in 2013, on the front row at a Louis Vuitton event.

Sporting a hair-band, a Louis Vuitton beige jumper and a striking chrome jacket, the world’s most expensive player looked the part as he mixed with Europe’s biggest fashion influencers.

Neymar has regularly hit the headlines since his £198m world-record move from Barcelona to PSG in the summer.

And despite scoring four and assisting two, the forward was booed by supporters in the closing stages of Wednesday’s thumping win for failing to allow team-mate Edinson Cavani to take the penalty.

But Neymar has failed to allow talk off the pitch to affect his performances on it and his four-goal haul means he has now netted 24 times in only 23 appearances since joining.

Alongside Beckham, though, Neymar was pictured in good spirits with the pair both known for their keen interest in fashion.

The PSG star had even more reason to enjoy his time off at the event as his performance against Dijon saw him become only the second player in Ligue 1 history to earn a perfect 10 rating from L’Equipe.

Brazil’s captain is joined in the history books by fellow Brazilian Carlos Eduardo who was awarded top marks for his part in Nice’s 7-2 win over Guingamp back in 2014.

PSG and Neymar will begin preparations on Friday for their top-of-the-table clash with Lyon on Sunday at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.
